BUCS BY DAY, CHAMPS BY NIGHT!

Here's a brief rundown on what you can expect to enjoy during your stay at the BUCS Surf Champs 2011........

THURSDAY NIGHT OCTOBER 13TH - WELCOME PARTY

Arrival night in the Surfers Village is all about mingling & meeting with your fellow surf-seekers over a few cold ones. The Outgoing Reps will be hand to make sure you have your caravan keys, maps and a clue on the weekend’s activities. To get the weekend underway this will be a very laid back affair starting in the Waves bar with some surfing films and then a closing DJ set from one of the Outgoing resident DJ's.

FRIDAY NIGHT OCTOBER 14TH - STANTON WARRIORS at Sailors, Newquay.

Here at the BUCS Barefoot Wine Surf Champs HQ we are super excited to have booked one of the most popular and distinctive dance DJ, production and remix outfits about to come join us on the Cornish Coast in a matter of weeks – the Stanton Warriors.

Stanton Warriors’ ‘The Warriors’ is one of electronic music’s most highly anticipated and long awaited debut artist albums. Their recent single ‘Turn Me Up Some’ was a Hottest Record In The World for Radio 1’s Zane Lowe, and the latest in a long line of singles from ‘Da Antidote’, ‘Pop Ya Cork feat Twister’, ‘Shake It Up' feat The Beatnuts, ‘Hold ‘Em High’ feat Sway, and beyond, all of which have ensured them a position at the forefront of global dance culture for over a decade.

The Shuttle Bus will run from reception from 9pm - 11pm & return from midnight - 03:00 back to the site. It's £2 pp return and that is to be paid on the departure journey!

It will stop at the Newquay bus stop and then the OUTGOING reps will walk you down to the cliub door, where your red wristband will get you in for FREE. If you lose your wristband in the daytime please make sure you have collected a new one from Caravan T4 at 9pm.

SATURDAY NIGHT OCTOBER 15TH - CLOSING PARTY WITH URBAN KNIGHTS (DVJ) in Waves at the Surfers Village.

Fancy Dress: O.A.P. Outing.

Oh no - the residents of BUCS's Old Folks Home are loosening up those creaky hips and puckering up some wrinkly lips for some after curfew chaos! Newquay will be taken over by doddery old blokes and sweet little grannies. Think: moustaches, bears, flat caps, granny glasses, ear horns, bald heads, walking sticks, shawls, hair nets, false teeth, flowery dresses, flat shoes & colostomy bags: it all adds up to a paralytic-geriatric (knobbly) knees up.
